I work in a range of media – watercolors, acrylics, printmaking, and collage. My early career was spent designing and directing animation for television and film, and my paintings reflect an ongoing fascination with light and movement.  My work resides in private collections as well as the collection of the State Museum of New York.” This spring, Susan was awarded First Prize in the Sylvia Maria Glesmann Floral Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. She holds a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and currently lives and works in Maplewood.   Her website is www.susanbrand.com
