New Jersey Council for the Humanities Face to Face: Community Conversations - Main Library - Oct. 23 at 7:00 p.m. Richard and Mildred Loving were arrested in 1958 for violating Virginia’s ban on interracial marriage. Their struggle culminated in a landmark Supreme Court decision which overturned anti-miscegenation laws in the U.S. Dr. Christopher Fisher, Associate Professor of History at The College of New Jersey, will facilitate a discussion.
