Pre-registration is required for all programs.  Enrollment is limited
Register at the location where the program is held
No phone registration (except at Hilton Branch)
Valid Maplewood Library card required

REGISTRATION for April/May programs begins:
Monday April 7, 2008 for children who are NOT registered in the March session
Monday, April 14 for children who ARE registered in the March session

Storytime Programs at Main Library

We continue to offer multi-age programs in an easy-going atmosphere, where you can bring all your children to ONE storytime program.

Multi-Age Storytime
Ages birth - kindergarten (with participating adult)
Please choose one program per child:

Tuesdays 10:30 – 11:00 am (Drop-In, registration suggested)
Session dates:  Apr 29, May 6, May 13

Wednesdays 1:30 – 2:00 pm (Limited registration)
Session dates: May 7, May 14, May 21

Thursdays 10:30 – 11:00 am (Limited registration)
Session dates:  May 8, May 15, May 22

Fridays 10:30 - 11:00 am (Drop-In, registration suggested)

Pajama Storytime

Summer Reading Club 2008

"Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading"

Summer Reading Club Registration starts on Monday June 16th at Main and Hilton Branches.  Start reading, sign up for programs, and collect prizes! (for all ages, even adults!!)

AFRICAN PEN PALS PROJECT
For elementary school kids (previously registered only)

Letters brought from Kenya will be distributed.  You'll get to know the Kenyan children through a slide show and some film clips of the Kenyan families.  We'll have everything you need to write back, if you want.

ARBOR DAY TREE TOUR

Main Library  In the Park  Friday April 25th  3:30 pm 
Meet the Trees!  Join the town arborist, Todd Lamm, in this exciting & memorable personal tour of the trees in Memorial Park.  Tour starts at 3:30 sharp on the front steps of the library.  All ages are welcome.  National Arbor Day website www.arborday.org

PLANT A BUTTERFLY GARDEN

Main Library  all ages (register please)  Wednesday May 14th  3:45 pm
We will dig along with Susan Brand, a local Artist & Garden Specialist!  Watch your work grow all summer long in the garden behind the Library.  We will also be raising & releasing butterflies during the summer.
