In Celebration of Self–In this interactive program, soprano Christine Clemmons-McCune and baritone Steven E. Herring lead an exploration into how we define ourselves. The audience is challenged to reevaluate how we label ourselves and, in turn, how we label others.

In Search of a Place–Through the lens of music and American composers, families help define and participate in a discussion of what makes our country what it is. We discuss where we have been, how we have been, and how we are made.
In our adult room display case: intriguing mortar and mixed media sculptures by Maplewood artist Eric Beckerich.
On our walls at Main Library: authentic brass rubbings from churches in England, done by local resident Nancy Bonn.
There will be a reception with live music on May 18. The artists will be here to talk about their work. Refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.
