Adult Romance novels for Teens

ShopaholicHave you read through the romance novels in the young adult collection of the library?  Why not try some of these titles in the adult fiction section of the library? Jane Green’s Mr. Maybe  and Jemima J:  a Novel about Ugly Ducklings and Swans are two of her earlier works that would be of interest to teens.  There is also Helen Fielding’s Bridget Jones series and Nicholas Sparks’s titles such as The Notebook and Dear John.  Sophie Kinsella has many adult books that would interest teens.  There is the Shopaholic series, but also titles such as Can You Keep A Secret?, Twenties Girl and Remember Me?  Bridget Jones

If you liked the Sisterhood series try Ann Brashare’s titles Sisterhood Everlasting and My Name is MemoryThe Melissa De La Cruz novel Witches of East End is a great next step for fans of the BlueBlood series.

RebeccaAnd don’t forget the classics!  One of my favorite and readable classic romances is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.
