Art & Music Reception Saturday @ 1 pm

Jackson Loutus Pond

Main Library – Nancy Jackson has used the histories of decorative arts, surrealism, folk art and ancient craft art to rearrange and develop the ideas which animate her processes. Working in a range of media, the objects she makes are placed in the canon of western modernist art, but follow surrealism, ideas about natural history, dreams, folk art, and ritual ‘art’.

Live music will be provided by Adam Rudolph, playing the Morocan gimbri.
