Main Library – Thursday, April 11 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This month’s title is Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert (1856).

Emma Bovary’s romantic delusions drive her into moral and emotional decline. The novel, considered Flaubert’s masterpiece, became notorious after being attacked for obscenity, and is one of the most influential works in history.
