While commuting on NJ Transit from Maplewood to New York, she became entranced by the Meadowlands landscape. Using her photos taken from the train, she created abstract oil pastels. A class in collage making expanded the content of Roberta’s art enabling her to express her concerns for the natural environment and need for wildlife protection. The acrylic paintings and paper collages in this exhibit are her most recent work on this subject. Live music will be provided by guitarist & singer Steve Jones. Artist’s talk at 3:20.
