Main Library – Starting and finishing homework assignments can be tough for any student, especially those with learning and attention issues. Join us to trade tips and learn new strategies to develop good solid study habits. Helpful for parents of children in grade school through high school.

Beth Cosentino lives in Maplewood and is the NJ Parent Fellow with Understood.org. Understood, the flagship organization for the National Center for Learning Disabilities, is a free online resource with the primary purpose to help educate and empower parents and caregivers of children with learning and attention issues. Some of these issues may include but are not limited to Dyslexia, ADHD, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Executive Functioning. Along with having a vast array of articles by vetted experts, parent toolkits and online communities, we also provide free community workshops and presentations for parents and caregivers.
