The Maplewood and South Orange Library Foundations will host an evening with filmmaker Ken Burns in conversation with South Orange resident and Harvard Professor Khalil Gibran Muhammad, discussing Burns’s work, including his recent film on the Vietnam War, and in particular the interplay of politics, race and culture in our country’s history. The event will benefit the library foundations. The event will take place at Columbia High School. This event is sold out.
