Teen Book Club postponed till August 6 at 4 p.m.
Tween Book Club is cancelled for July 31. It will be rescheduled for the Fall.
Main Library – An unreleased title (it’s so top secret we don’t even know what it is yet!) will be waiting for you at the library–come pick up a copy and then come on Aug. 6 to talk about it.
Starting last Fall, an intrepid group of readers began making its way through the Library’s non-fiction stacks, as members of the Dewey Book Club. Non-fiction books in the Library are organized according to the Dewey Decimal System, which divides all knowledge into 10 major classes, each of which is further broken down into more specific topics. The Dewey Book Club read one selection from each of the ten categories in turn, starting in October and finishing in July. If you would like to retrace their steps, the reading list is below. Or take your own tour of the Dewey Decimal System–there’s something there for every taste!
