Thursday Night Book Club

Watched by Marina Budhos

Main Library – Thursday, March 1 @ 7 pm. Our March title is Watched by this year’s Maplewood Literary Award winner, Marina Budhos. Inspired by actual surveillance practices in New York City and elsewhere, this extraordinary and timely novel examines what it’s like to grow up with Big Brother always watching. Teenage Naeem’s riveting story is as vivid and involving as today’s headlines. Budhos will receive the Maplewood Literary Award on March 24.
