Hilton 3D CAD Workshop

Hilton Branch - Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 18, 25, Dec. 2 (no class Nov. 11)  5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Computer generated animation, gaming landscapes and consumer products all start as 3D computer models. This 8 WEEK WORKSHOP will present participants with the opportunity to learn the basics of Rhino 3D a user friendly industrial strength 3D CAD program.  Click here to register If you would like extra practice the Rhino 3D software is available on the Teen Zone computers at the Hilton Branch and the Teen Zone PCs at the Main Library.  By attending all the classes in the workshop you will have the opportunity to print your design on the library’s new 3d printer.  The workshop is open to middle school students, high school students and adults. Fiction or Food? New Books Clubs at MML

Do you like fiction, food, or both? Then you're bound to like our new book clubs starting up at Main Library in October.  The first meeting of the THURSDAY NIGHT BOOK CLUB is on Thursday, Oct. 2. The selection is Claire of the Sea Light, by Edwidge Danticat.  The FOOD FOR THOUGHT BOOK CLUB features food-based non-fiction, with snacks provided by local eateries.  The group will meet on Wed., Oct. 8 at 7:00 pm. The October title is My Year of Meats, by Ruth Ozeki.  More information

Hilton Branch - Sept. 23 at 6:45 -  Identity Theft is a serious crime that can wreak havoc with your finances, credit history, and reputation — and can take time, money, and patience to resolve. This PowerPoint presentation will show you how thieves obtain your information, how to protect yourself, and the steps to follow if you are a victim. A question and answer period will follow. Presented by Milda Rosa, Community Educator for New Jersey Citizen Action.

September Art Exhibit

Our September exhibit is the work of Marie Elena Glynn. Glynn is a painter who works in oils.  She has a BFA in Illustration from RISD and has worked as a surface designer creating china patterns and a print designer for a leading textile studio.
