LIBRARY CARDS

Design Contest

Maplewood Library is celebrating the one year anniversary of our new building. In order to commemorate this very special occasion, we are hosting a library card design contest! We want to give our amazing and talented community the opportunity to help us usher in the Library’s next chapter.

Whether your focus is on reading, learning, community, or the Library, itself, your design should reflect the mission of the Maplewood Library: We connect people to information, ideas, culture and each other. We are open to all."

We will accept submissions across three age categories: Children, Teen (middle and high school), and Adult. Each category will have one winning design selected by the Maplewood Arts Council!

All entries must be submitted by midnight on AUGUST 2nd. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Winning designs will be announced by the Maplewood Library and Maplewood Arts Council the week of September 7th. They will be featured as official, limited edition Maplewood Library cards, and will also be featured on our library’s website and social media accounts.
