English for Speakers of Other Languages
ESOL BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE CLASS REGISTRATION
The next session of Beginner and Intermediate online classes will be from October 6, 2026, to December 24, 2026, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to noon.
Registration will take place at the Hilton Branch, 1688 Springfield Ave in September. Please check back in mid-August for the dates.
Registering students must bring:
● 2 forms of identification
● Gmail account information
● $25. fee: credit/debit card or money order only
Students may also register at the Literacy Volunteers of America Essex & Passaic (LVAEP) office (90 Broad St., Bloomfield, NJ) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 pm - 3 pm.

ESOL IN-PERSON CONVERSATION CLASSES
English Conversation Class - Hilton Branch Library - 1688 Springfield Ave.
Registration is now open for those interested in the conversation class. You must register first through our website (registration button below) AND take a pre-test to join the class.
The pre-test will be given on July 30, 2026, at the Hilton Branch Library at 1688 Springfield Ave. between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.
The next session will take place on Thursdays, from August 6 to September 10, 2026, 6:30 - 7:30 pm.

This class is for students with a good command of English who want to improve their vocabulary and expressive skills.
