RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
MAPLEWOOD MEMORIAL LIBRARY 

AWARD OF Single Prime Contract
for Audiovisual Systems
for the Maplewood Memorial Library
Construction Project

WHEREAS, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, sealed bids were received, opened and read for Single Prime Contract for Audiovisual Systems for the Maplewood Memorial Library Construction Project, in accordance with the plans and specifications; and

WHEREAS, the Township’s Qualified Purchasing Agent has reviewed all bids received and recorded the summary of the results described herein as:

WHEREAS, the Library Director assembled a bid review team of Sage & Coombe Architects, NV5 Consultants, the Library’s Head of Technology, and Township representatives; and

WHEREAS, the Library Director and the bid review team have reviewed the bid of Commercial Technology Contractors, Inc. for the Base Bid and Alternates 1, 2 and 3, and conducted reference checks; and

WHEREAS, the Library Director recommends approval of a contract to Commercial Technology Contractors, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, the Township of Maplewood’s account for the construction of the new Maplewood Memorial Library is C-04-21-017-000-102.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Maplewood Memorial Library that the contract, in the amount of $403,278.37, for the Base Bid and Alternates 1, 2 and 3 for Audiovisual Systems for the Maplewood Memorial Library Construction Project be awarded to Commercial Technology Contractors, Inc.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Library Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract to implement this contract award.

I, Shannon Cuttle, Secretary of the Maplewood Memorial Library Board of Trustees, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution adopted by Maplewood Memorial Library Board of Trustees at a meeting of said Board held on May 17, 2023.
