Your input helped make our Library for the 21st Century possible.

  • Meetings were held with all Maplewood stakeholder groups, including private citizens, clubs, associations,  students, etc.

  • A community forum, “Your Library, Your Voice”, was held to seek input from all Maplewood residents.

  • Ideas and comments submitted by email were collected.

  • The public was invited to comment on Sage & Coombe Architects’ conceptual design plan.

  • Maplewood residents overwhelmingly voted for the State Library Construction Bond Act, which authorized funding for critical improvements to the state’s public libraries.
